NSI offers three levels of approval:
- Guarding Gold
- Guarding Silver
- Guarding Bronze
About The Guarding Gold Award
NSI's premier Security Guarding scheme is designed for companies wishing to meet the industry's highest standards by achieving business excellence through UKAS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management, as well as displaying technical expertise by meeting the appropriate British Standards.
All NSI approved companies:
- Meet the highest business performance standards
- Meet all relevant British and European standards for technical performance
- Security screen all relevant staff
- Provide a high level of staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards
- Are comprehensively insured to protect customers and staff
- Are inspected every six months by professional auditors including random customer site visits
Gold approved companies also:
- Meet the industry specific ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard
- Require additional, tougher entry standards and due diligence on application (to BS 7858:2006 Security Screening and Vetting) and on-going inspection
- Demonstrate a long-term track record of performance and evidence of reliability and stability
- Offer a high level of insurance specification and preferment
